“We at ATCO procured a LinePro Barehand-765HA from LinePro Equipment mounted on a Manitex 35124 truck mounted crane in 2017.

We have been using this unit for live line barehand work on 240kv as well as 500kv both AC and DC. With the use we have seen, the unit has performed very well with minimal issues or unplanned maintenance required. I feel that this is due to the attention to detail and high level of quality workmanship in the fabrication process.

With the available articulation of the insulated jib, it allows us to position linemen in many different circuit configurations from very low level midspan work to getting at the top phase of vertically spaced circuits where limited space is available on the ROW.

I would recommend a similar unit to any utilities with a need for EHV barehand capabilities.
