LinePro offers a wide variety of Insulated Work Platforms to convert boom trucks to allow energized work on up to 765kV transmission lines at working heights from 100’ up to 182’. We offer a range of IWPs for many applications and boom truck cranes, all meeting the strictest standards. The IWP installs quickly with factory jib pins and two quick-connect hydraulic hoses. The IWP allows boom trucks to have increased functionality and utilization as insulated aerial devices at cost-effective prices. Why LinePro?
LinePro IWPs are available direct from our factory. When you order an IWP from us, the unit is built with many factors in consideration. We consult with you based on your chassis, crane, road rules and application to get you a product that will integrate seamlessly with your boom truck fleet. Once the layout is completed, we use CAD, FEA and other computer software to fine tune the design to meet your specific requirements. After your approval is received for the design, we proceed to manufacture the components using a variety of methods, including laser and water cutting and MIG/TIG welding. We then perform NDT testing on the welds of each fabricated component which are then stamped for identification and logged. Once the components have been painted and assembled, the product is delivered for install. Stability, structural and high-voltage testing is performed to meet the desired standard such as ANSI, CSA, IEC. The crew is then trained on the operation and maintenance of the IWP so that they are knowledgeable and comfortable with the product.
